Architecture and
Engineering students may carry out internships at the PRiSMa Lab
from 3 to 7 CFU.
During this
period they work regularly in the Lab, and they are
actively involved in the experimental activities as:
- preparation an
control of test specimens;
- execution of
simple tests as the compression test on concrete specimens or
tension test on reinforcement rebar;
- installation of
engaging experimental tests on building materials or structures;
- data
processing;
- certificate and
test report drafting.
Sometimes
the internship is addressed on a specific research project or
experimental activity giving to the student the possibility to use
the acquired experience and the data collected to develop the
graduation thesis.
In order to
forward an internship request at the PRiSMa Lab it is necessary:
- to contact your
teacher reference into the department;
- to contact by
e-mail the technical director of the PRiSMa Lab asking for an
appointment.
Architecture and engineering students can actively participate to
some specific experimental activities, engaged in the PRiSMa Lab for
a research project or for an outside body, and develop their
graduation, master or phd thesis.
